BEFORE 

SEP is all about you and your leadership development. The groundwork for your program experience starts well before the program starts. You'll complete multiple quick, straightforward assessments to capture your advanced leadership style and how you handle the organization. Direct reports, peers, superiors, and clients/customers complete a personalized assessment of the your leadership effectiveness based on critical behaviors proven essential for success in leading the organization

Participants answer several thought-provoking questions about their leadership opportunities and challenges and also share their leadership goals and goals for the program. They are also tasked withholding a guided conversation about their learning and leadership goals with their executive team. We provide participants with an agenda and talking points for this conversation.

Participants are welcomed into the program with a one-on-one orientation meeting with a member of the program faculty and a package of digestible articles and videos to prime your thinking and introspection around leading your organization.
DURING

For five days, participants engage with highly-qualified facilitators in an fast- changing, participant-driven learning environment. They focus on key personal and organizational opportunities and challenges based on assessment-generated personal data, and hands-on learning experiences.

Business Operational Acumen, Leading Organizational Change, Leading Boundary-less Collaboration, Building a Talent Engine, Optimizing your Span of Impact, Mastering Executive Presence, Crisis Point - Organization Simulation, and One-on-One Coaching Sessions

• Extremely relevant and applicable content based on extensive research that challenges mindsets, builds your enterprise-wide mindsets and skills, and supports leading the organization to new heights
• In-depth learning via the real life-based simulation brings concepts to life
• Group feedback via a robust, facilitated debrief
• In depth, actionable individualized feedback sessions with each facilitator
• Group work allows for real-time leadership roles, insights, and feedback
• Continual networking fosters lasting connections
• Personalized, in-depth one-on-one action planning session with a highly-seasoned executive coach for applying new knowledge and tools back at work on day one
AFTER

Participants have continual access to program and post-program materials, as well as facilitators and other participants as resources for ensuring they're applying their learning on the job most effectively.

Ongoing support includes:

• An online portal with all program materials and resources focused on your needs
• Access to eLearning resources to support your learning on the job including books, podcasts, articles and quick-reference checklists and tools
• Three 1-hour phone-based senior executive coaching sessions with a certified Columbia Leadership Group executive coach
• Three administrations (1, 3, 6 months post-program) of PROGRESS, our post-program measure of application of your learnings back on the job
